Electricians
At Trecc Electric we offer positions for electricians from first-year apprentices right through to Journeyman. Our work is predominantly residential construction, and tasks can include wiring
during construction, finishing work, and after-possession service.
The right candidates should have:
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Appropriate tools of the trade
- Appropriate safety gear (steel-toed boots and hard hat are required)
- A current Standard First Aid / CPR-C certificate
- The ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule during busy periods, including overtime and weekends which are paid at time and a half
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and take pride in their work
- A reasonable level of physical fitness

Structured Wiring and Audio/Video Installers
Trecc also wires homes for audio and video systems, from simple TV and data lines up to complex home automation systems and home theatres.
The right candidates should have:
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Appropriate tools of the trade
- Appropriate safety gear (steel-toed boots and hard hat are required on construction sites)
- A current Standard First Aid / CPR-C certificate
- The ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule during busy periods including overtime and weekends
- For AV installers, an interest in AV systems and the ability to learn quickly in a rapidly changing industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including, for AV installers, the ability to explain to customers how to use their AV equipment in a clear, concise, and easy to
understand manor
- For AV installers, a focus on treating the customers’ home with respect
- The ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and take pride in their work
- A reasonable level of physical fitness and a tidy appearance
- Experience with structured wiring, home theatre hookup, home network equipment, security cameras/security systems and smart home systems are a definite advantage
