Green

TRECC Electric has found ways to minimize energy consumption and control pollution on the jobsite and in our office. Our workers are conscientious minded individuals of their own accord, which means recycling and clean construction can be expected for every install. We are asked to supply specialty green products, such as dimmers, Energy Star Bathfans etc. more often than not. It is our privilege to work with builders that produce innovative solar heating systems and builders that buy in Built Green, bronze to gold rated neighborhoods. 

Other ways in which we can say our product is Green:

• Our products are purchased from Canadian distributors whenever possible
• Compact Fluorescent bulbs are supplied as spec by some of our builders
• Scrap copper, paper, cardboard and empty bottles/cans are recycled
• Halogen bulbs are installed as standard for all potlights (not incandescent)
• Electronics are sent to a proper recycling company in Calgary
