Experience

• TRECC Electric has been in business for almost 26 years and is one of the largest residential electrical contractors in Calgary. With combined experience of well over 200 years for residential electrical wiring you can rely on our team to provide only the best when it comes to time lines, service and support.
• We have completed the wiring in well over 19,000 new single family homes, as well as many multi-family homes and renovations, and have earned numerous awards for our efforts.
• We maintain a fleet of clean, clearly signed, well stocked and staffed newer vans, with several of them dedicated to service work only, offering same or next day service.
• Our office staff alone has over 120 combined years of electrical experience, with 2 master electricians and 2 journeymen on hand to sort out any problems, and our field staff is all certified journeymen or registered apprentices: we do not employ any laborers.
• In the past TRECC Electric has completed as much as 24% of ALL new single family home wiring in Calgary based on the permits issued (in 2006 we completed 2295 homes out of approximately 9500 Calgary starts).
• Code education is ongoing whenever required, and we rotate apprentices to promote thorough training in all aspects of our work.
• We currently have approximately 55 trained and qualified electricians in the field, as well as 2 Certified Master Electricians and 2 Journeymen in the office.

Safety & Quality

• TRECC Electric employs our own safety officer, has a comprehensive safety program, and our COR.
• The company’s owner personally checks many, if not all of the jobs to maintain our quality control. Each phase of every job is also checked by the crew leader for quality and completeness, with completion/deficiency and safety evaluation forms handed in at the end of each project stage. Our awards wall confirms that all this extra work is well worth the effort.

Products & Services

• We use a prefabricated panel board assembly. TRECC Electric pioneered these assemblies in Calgary, which are assembled in our shop with a nicely painted finished surface, and are fully weather protected for installation in the foulest weather.
• We also maintain a fully stocked warehouse so we are not at the mercy of the wholesale supply chain to the same extent as some of our competitors (who pick up their material on a job by job basis).
• TRECC Electric uses only quality electrical product lines, such as Leviton wiring devices, Iberville boxes, Halo Lighting recessed lights, Lutron dimmers,
• Siemens panels and breakers, and Broan bathfans. We shop Canadian whenever possible.
• Structured wiring systems for internet, telephone, cable, or satellite signals, and distributed audio systems or pre-wiring are also offered services.
• We proudly sell and install brand name products such as Denon, Sony, Boston Acoustics, and Monster Cable.
