TRECC Electric adheres to a strict health and safety policy that is applicable to all aspects of our work. Our employees perform on site hazard assessments every day. They use proper protective equipment and are trained prior to entering a job site. TRECC Electric is a leader in the residential construction industry for health and safety. We earned our Certificate of Recognition with the Alberta Construction Safety Association in August of 2007. We have built our program on this solid foundation and maintained it with ease.

How does this affect our operations?

• Our employees understand that their safety is very important to the company and their families
• It allows us to work for prominent builders
• We qualify for the PIR program through WCB
• Training and resources are easily obtained and up to date

What does this mean to our builders?

• They trust us to prevent injury to ourselves and others on their job sites
• Maintaining their COR is not interrupted by our lack of participation in the program
• The required documentation and reporting is properly completed within a common guideline
• We are already in compliance with OH&S safe work practices/procedure

What does this mean to our customers?

• Job site injury prevention will minimize delays in production
• If on site with our electricians you can expect a clean work site whenever possible and an electrician to guide the customer through a job site safely, if allowed by the builder
• The electricians are either Journeymen or steadily upgrading their trade status as required by AAIT. This ensures quality craftsmanship, which in turn provides a safe final product.
